Experiencing problems with a printer that won't install correctly, or some USB hardware that refuses to be recognised? Or perhaps you've suddenly lost sound, or similar. All could be caused by software problems.

The quickest way to see if something's gone awry is to check the Window hardware device manager in Control Panel, if anything is wrong it will be highlighted as a "!" or perhaps a yellow warning triangle.

If you're experiencing problems like this, give us a call and we will visit you to see what the problem might be. Generally if there is a fault within the software or drivers, this can be rectified by re-installing the offending software, but of course, there could be more underlying issues.

First off, we don't have a callout fee (unless the appointment is cancelled with no good reason, see note). Quite a lot of local computer engineers operate on a fixed fee basis, charging by the job - this could work out expensive in the long run! We just charge by the hour for the job you've called us out for, we're not expensive. The engineer will then take a few basic details before arranging a mutually convenient time to visit.
